How it works
Every active PreviewBound session holder can participate in the referral program. You get a unique referral link — any author who visits PreviewBound through that link is attributed to you. When they purchase a paid session plan, 40% of the purchase price is credited to your account as commission.
The process is three steps:
- Get your referral link. Open the referral dashboard using your active session key. Your unique link is generated instantly — it looks like previewbound.com/?ref=YOUR-CODE.
- Share it with authors. Post it in a writing community, add it to your blog, mention it in a video, or send it directly to someone preparing a book for KDP.
- Earn on every purchase. When a referred author buys any paid session plan, 40% is credited to your account. Your dashboard shows clicks, sales, and pending earnings in real time.
What you earn
The 40% commission applies to both session plans. There are no excluded plans, no minimum thresholds, and no cap on how much you can earn.
- 1-Week Session ($3.00) — you earn $1.20.
- 1-Month Session ($7.00) — you earn $2.80.
Commissions accumulate in your referral account and are paid out on request once a minimum threshold is reached.
How tracking works
When an author clicks your referral link, their browser stores your referral code locally. If they visit PreviewBound and purchase a session within the attribution window — even days later — the sale is credited to your account. They do not need to buy immediately for you to earn the commission.
Each referral code is unique to your account. Clicks and resulting purchases are tracked automatically and appear in your referral dashboard.
Who can join
Any PreviewBound customer with an active session key can activate a referral account. There is no application process and no approval required. Open the referral dashboard, enter your key, and your referral link is ready immediately.
You do not need a monthly plan — either session type qualifies you to participate.
